Whether you're a brand new to painting or have experience with other mediums, you’ll find oil painting to be both enjoyable and rewarding. This course will teach the foundations of oil painting including mixing and application of the paint, composition and proper care of your tools. Throughout the class we will aim to finish three paintings. There are anticipated extra costs of over $50 in paints, brushes, canvas, etc for the class. Cost of the class is $75 and payment can be made in the Layton High School Main Office during school hours (7:00 am -2:30 pm) OR with check, cash, debit card or credit card the night of the first class.
