Beginning Beekeeping
06:30 PM to 08:30 PM
Learn how to acquire bees, procure the equipment, properly set up and manage the hive, recognize disease and other health issues, and how to safely handle the bees. Discussed will be how to harvest a golden crop of honey and bees wax and how to prepare the hive to survive the cold winter. The class will also go on a field trip to look at a full size hive and get some hands on experience. A digital workbook will be provided to use during the class.
