Light of the Valley Lutheran Church in Layton is offering a free Trunk or Treat to the community on Saturday, October 29 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Members of Light of the Valley (LOTV) decorate their trunks for this special occasion. There will be interactive trunks, games, prizes, and, of course, candy. The Layton Fire Department has agreed to be there as well to show off their fire engine and hand out candy.

This year the Light of the Valley youth group is going to raffle off two Huffy children’s bikes with helmets for $5 a ticket with no limit on number of tickets that can be purchased. The raffle will be held at about 3:55 pm at the Trunk or Treat event; you must be present to win. The proceeds will then be donated to a charity chosen by our youth group.

We are also planning on having a few food trucks at our event.

Light of the Valley Lutheran Church is located at 1074 N. Fairfield Rd in Layton, just north of the intersection of Gordan Ave and Fairfield Rd.
