Risk Management
Risk Management - Responsibilities include the acquisition of liability and property insurance coverage for the City,
which involves working with commercial insurance carriers and the Utah Risk Management Mutual Association (URMMA). The
Legal Department’s Risk Management Division handles most claims against the City, including investigation of incident
details and correspondence with claimants. The Risk Manager chairs the City’s Claims Committee and Accident Review Board.
