East Layton Pipeline Project Open House - March 6th

Article Published 02/25/2014
The public is invited to attend an Open House to learn more about Weber Basin's East Layton Pipeline Project, scheduled to begin in mid-March 2014.  The Open House will be held Thursday, March 6th at Adams Elementary School from 4:30 to 7:00 PM.  Adams Elementary School is located at 2200 E. 2500 N. in Layton.

The Weber Basin Water Conservancy District has finalized project design and is preparing to begin installation of a new 36-inch culinary water pipeline in east Layton between Canyon View Drive and Highway 89 near Country Oaks Drive. This pipeline will become part of Weber Basin's culinary water distribution system, servicing cities and communities along the Highway 89 corridor in Davis County from its Davis North Water Treatment Plant to Farmington.  The purpose of this project is to increase existing capacity and to provide a redundant pipeline to supplement the existing pipeline, which is aging and in need of frequent repair.

More information is available at, or by contacting or 801-200-4102.  To receive regular construction progress updates, send an email with "Updates" in the subject line to or sign up on the website.
