Layton Parkway Construction Project

Layton City has contracted with Staker & Parsons Companies to complete the Layton Parkway Construction Project. This project includes a traffic signal at the intersection of Angel Street and Layton Parkway as well as the relocation of the Weaver Lane crossing of the UTA right of way to Layton Parkway. The project also includes the installation of a new storm drain line in Angel Street and Weaver Lane from Layton Parkway to Kays Creek near Heritage Elementary. It is anticipated the project will begin around April 18, 2011 with completion scheduled for October 29, 2011. **Construction Update (09/21/2011)**
The Contractor will be completing road work in the intersection of Angel Street and Layton Parkway including removing and rebuilding the new intersection. This work will necessitate the closure of Angel Street from the intersection with Layton Parkway to the intersection with Weaver Lane beginning September 22. Traffic will be routed onto Layton Parkway and Weaver Lane. To view a detour map click here.
