Zach Bloxham - Council Candidate

Biography

My name is Zach Bloxham and it is an honor to serve you and your family on the Layton City Council. I am married to my wife Kayla, and we have four children. Professionally, I am an attorney, working closely with the elderly, those with special needs, and our veterans. My profession allows me to interact with many of our community’s most vulnerable, heroic, and forgotten members and I am better for it. Our world and city have changed quite a bit since I was first elected four years ago. Despite the challenges, we have accomplished important things as a city. We balance our budget; we’ve never raised taxes; we said no to any new debt; we increased funding for our police; we made historic investments in water and conservation; we began live streaming our meetings; we opened new parks, pickleball courts, and improved trails; we made infrastructure improvements throughout the city; and we maintain healthy reserves for any eventuality.
