Article Published 06/27/2016
Underground pipe work on the Hill Field Road (SR-232) repaving project, from 1425 North to SR-193, the Bernard Fisher Highway, is now complete. Roadway repaving activities started Monday, June 27, with crews shifting traffic to the west side of the road, from 1900 North to 2800 North. This work will take place from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Crews will begin removing the existing asphalt on the east side of the road on Tuesday, June 28. This work will take place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Traffic will remain shifted to the west for approximately six weeks. One travel lane in each direction will be maintained as this work is taking place.
Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes, particularly if travel is time-sensitive, to avoid delays.
Residents may experience an increase in noise, dust, and vibrations in the immediate vicinity of the work being conducted.
