Update on Hill Field Road work

Article Published 07/01/2016
No construction activity on Hill Field Road is planned from July 2-4, for the holiday weekend.
Beginning Tuesday, July 5, asphalt paving preparation will begin from 1900 North to 2800 North. This work will take place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, and traffic will remain shifted to the west for approximately six weeks. One travel lane in each direction will be maintained as this work is taking place.
Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes, particularly if travel is time-sensitive, to avoid delays. Residents may experience an increase in noise, dust, and vibrations in the immediate vicinity of the work being conducted.
-Residents with specific issues can call the project hotline at 801-859-3770, email sr232@utah.gov, or visit the project website at udot.utah.gov/go/sr232.
-Work on the new I-15 interchange at Hill Field Road (SR-232) in Layton is progressing. I-15 is now in its final configuration.
While crews reconstruct Hill Field Road, left turns are prohibited by those exiting the freeway, so follow the signs and use the ThrU-Turns adjacent to the interchange. Left turns onto I-15 are still permitted. Trucks are encouraged to use the Layton Parkway (exit 330) and Antelope Drive (exit 332) exits to access the industrial areas west of I-15.
