Hill Field Road work continues

Article Published 10/31/2016
Hill Field Road (SR-232), work has now moved to the west side of Hill Field Road north of Antelope Drive. Crews are removing the existing asphalt at SR-193, working south. Starting Oct. 31, crews will begin preparing for concrete placement starting at SR-193 and working south. Meanwhile, south of Antelope, Southbound traffic has been shifted to the east side of the road now, with crews removing the existing asphalt at 1250 North on October 31, and moving.
In both areas, intermittent, short term (less than 30 minutes) driveway and cross street closures will be needed as the milling machine removes asphalt in front of each street and driveway. One travel lane in each direction will be maintained on Hill Field Road and at the Antelope Drive intersection.
Motorists should expect heavy delays from 7 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. and from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. due to school traffic, so please use alternate routes, particularly if travel is time-sensitive, to avoid delays.
