Article Published 04/21/2017
Here are updates on three road projects by UDOT within Layton City:

-Work is underway on a project to resurface SR-193, the Bernard Fisher Highway, from Hill Field Road (SR-232) to US-89. Presently, crews are replacing guardrail near the US-89 southbound off ramp to SR-193 and are rebuilding pedestrian ramps in the project limits during daytime hours, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
For more information email sr193improved@utah.gov or call the project team at 801-499-6577.

-Crews are installing signal upgrades to the traffic signal on SR-109 at Gentile Street and Fairfield Rd, Layton. Crews expect to finish the underground work this week. Lanes may be closed or restricted in the immediate area of work. Slow down and be prepared to stop at any time.

-Northbound and southbound travel will remain reduced to one lane in each direction on portions of Hill Field Road through the end of April to allow crews to finish grinding the newly placed concrete and asphalt to provide a smoother driving surface. Residents with specific issues can call the project hotline at 801-859-3770 for assistance.
