Midtown Crossing work continues; I-15 southbound being repaved at night, from Layton to Farmington

Pile driving is underway in the median between I-15 northbound and southbound and will continue on the I-15 Layton Midtown Crossing Project. Starting Aug. 21, crews started installation of wall panels on the west side bridge abutment.

Business access will be restricted on 1425 North Street, near Ari Diamonds, while crews work in the area. Please use the business access on Woodland Park Drive or on Layton Hills Parkway and follow the business access signs in the area.

-Work is also underway on a resurfacing project on I-15 between Lagoon in Farmington to Layton Parkway in Layton. Construction crews are performing pavement removal and paving work on southbound mainline I-15 nightly, Monday through Saturday nights, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Watch for electronic signs indicating which lanes are closed.
