UDOT update: Section of 1425 North Street closed for 6 weeks

Pile driving continues in the median of I-15 between northbound and southbound lanes, and will continue for another week on the I-15 Layton Midtown Crossing Project. Then crews will move the crane to the east side of the road and pile driving is expected to begin soon. 
1425 North Street will be closed Tuesday, September 5, between Woodland Park Drive and Layton Hills Parkway. Some of the work happening in this area includes installation of piles for the bridge abutment, relocations of water and sewer lines, installation of new storm drain, and building of bridge support walls. Please use Woodland Park Drive and Layton Hills Parkway to access the businesses in this area. The closure will last approximately six weeks.

-A pavement rehabilitation project is underway along the I-15 on- and off-ramps at Hill Field Road (SR-232), Antelope Drive (SR-108) and 700 South (SR-193) in Layton. 
Asphalt placement on the mainline of I-15 is scheduled to continue through September 9.  Bonded Wearing Course activities are scheduled to take place southbound I-15 from Hill Field Road to 5600 South, Tuesday – Friday, 8:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m.
