UDOT update: Midtown Crossing work increases east of I-15

On the I-15 Layton Midtown Crossing Project, crews will begin excavation, installation of piles, and pouring wall footings on the east side of I-15 this week. Crews will also begin forming and pouring footings and columns for the bent pile in the I-15 median. Crews will be paving the driveway of Layton Meadows Apartments and also pouring curb and gutter on 1400 North.
Be aware of lane shifts on I-15, Layton Hills Parkway and Angel Street (1200 West), north and south of Main Street (SR-126).
A section of 1425 North is also closed for approximately 6 weeks. Contact the project team with any questions at 801-499-6577 or email laytoncrossing@utah.gov.
-A pavement rehabilitation project is underway along the I-15 on- and off-ramps at Hill Field Road (SR-232), Antelope Drive (SR-108) and 700 South (SR-193) in Layton. Paving activities are scheduled to take place on SB I-15 from Hill Field Road to 5600 South, through Friday, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Intermittent ramp closures and single lane traffic configurations may take place along the corridor during road construction activities, through Friday, 8 p.m. – 5 a.m.
