LAYTON — Let it snow! Just don't park on the street when it does. Unless you want a parking ticket.

That's the message city officials want to remind residents when the white, fluffy stuff comes down on our streets during the winter months.

Specifically, Layton City Code 10.62.010 prohibits any parking on public streets between the hours of 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. during the months of December, January and February.

In addition, parking on public streets is prohibited during all other times when the removal of snow from streets is apparent or imminent, or when necessary, as determined by the City.

You may read about all of the city's ordinances and how to keep your property in compliance by visiting the City's Web site by clicking this link.

Or please call the code enforcement division at (801) 497-8300.

Thank you for helping the City in this matter.
