This course is an introduction to digital photography. Learn the basic concepts for purchasing a digital camera and image capture. It is designed to include a solid understanding of camera operation along with the skills to create effective photographs. Basic photography composition skills will be taught as well as camera functions such as aperture, shutter speed, depth of field and ISO. A DSLR camera is highly recommended for the course. Cost of the class is $65 and payment can be made in the Layton High School Main Office during school hours (7:00 am -2:30 pm) OR with check, cash, debit card or credit card the night of the first class.
