Gain a working understanding of the basic and most essential drawing skills. This hands on class will focus on drawing from observation but does not exclude some amount of abstract or expressive forms of drawing. Methods and medias explored but not limited to include: contour line, blind and semi-blind contour, mark-making, sight measuring and intuitive measuring techniques, ink, china marker, and graphite. Cost of the class is $55 per person and payment can be made in the Layton High School Main Office during school hours (7:00 am -2:30 pm) OR with check, cash, debit card or credit card the night of the first class.
