3.08.160. Tax deed
If any property sold as aforesaid is not redeemed within the time and in the manner provided in this Chapter, the City Recorder shall make, acknowledge, and deliver a deed conveying the property to the purchaser. In January of each year, or as soon thereafter as possible, the City Recorder shall make and acknowledge a deed conveying to the City all property purchased in the name of the City at special tax sales for which the redemption period has expired and shall cause such deeds to be recorded in the office of the Davis County Recorder. Such deeds shall recite substantially the amount of tax for which the property was sold, the particular purpose of the tax levied and the date of the levy, the date and amount of the sale, a description of the property sold, and the name of the purchaser.
