LAYTON — The Layton City Police Department has an exciting new tool available to help citizens help us fight crime: the Layton City Crime Prevention Connection. The Prevention Connection is a newsletter that provides monthly crime prevention education and tips for citizens. It alerts residents to upcoming department events and includes information regarding crime trends in our area.

Citizens can access the Layton City Crime Prevention Connection by going to www.laytoncity.org/public/Depts/Police/default.aspx where userscan find links that will allow them to view the current month's edition, view archived months or sign up to receive the newsletter via e-mail.

It is the Police Department’s goal to have as many citizens as possible sign up to receive the Layton City Crime Prevention Connection via e-mail.
