Register your phones/devices on Layton City's 'ENS'

Layton City's Emergency Notification System (ENS) is used to rapidly call, text, and email residents to advise them of any situation that threatens harm to life or property.

Messages could include warnings on imminent severe weather, man-made disasters, crime, pandemics, hazardous materials incidents, or missing and endangered persons.

Notifications are usually made to specific geographic areas affected by the incident, but can be made to the entire city on rare occasions.

Many people opt to use cell phones as their only phone number or have unlisted land lines, so Layton City encourages all residents who wish to receive critical messages to register their devices at  Please note it is https and not http.
