Update on UDOT road work

Article Published 08/07/2015

Road work is continuing on improvements in the vicinity of I-15 and Hill Field Road (SR-232). The week of Aug. 7-13, crews will be drilling under the road near all four ThrU-Turn locations to begin the installation of new street lights in the middle of the road (where the future ThrU-Turns will be located). Drilling will be night work, and the installation of the street light foundations will occur during the day.

It is anticipated that all of the ThrU-Turns will open early to mid-September

On Hill Field Road (SR-232) west of Main Street, the project will continue with night work paving and concrete work, as usual, but the crews are starting bridge work over Hill Field Road, beginning with driving piles the next two weeks. It will be done as daytime work, some noise and vibrations can be expected,  Local residents may experience some test related noise and vibration.
