Angie Hronek - Council Candidate
Angie Hronek owns a private speech therapy clinic in Layton, and worked in Davis School District as a speech therapist. She is a mother of 2 and has always loved serving in her community.
While working people with disabilities, she's learned about the needs of the most vulnerable in our community. She understands the importance of access to resources for everyone and is passionate about improving the quality of life for all people in Layton. She's gained skills in communicating, negotiating, managing, and advocating effectively.
Communication: Angie wants to be connected with residents. She will reach out to communities first, instead of waiting for residents to come to the council. It should be easy to have your voice heard!
Connection: It's important to make sure our communities are connected. Angie will focus on making the city a walkable space, and improving public transportation options. Supporting established neighborhoods and providing these options to new developments will reduce traffic and create community connection to places we work, live, and recreate.
Conservation: Angie believes in using funds appropriately and efficiently. Conserving city resources such as tax funding, green space, and water are a top priority for Angie.
