Linda Lartigue - Council Candidate
Biography
Hi, I'm Linda Lartigue, wife to a 25-year Army veteran, proud mom of two young adults, and experienced in municipal government; dedicated to building strong, inclusive communities. I'm running for Layton City Council because every resident deserves to be seen, heard, and valued.
As a military family, we've experienced living around the world, but Layton quickly became our home. I'm trilingual in English, Spanish, and American Sign Language. As the mother of a Deaf daughter and an Autistic son, I understand how important it is for families to feel supported by their city.
I hold a nursing degree, Bachelor's in Business Administration, and currently pursuing my Master's in Public Administration. With over a decade of experience in local government and nonprofits, I've led community programs, managed grants, and co-founded Trips for Troops connecting Hill AFB servicemembers with local host families. I've also served as Executive Director of Deaf Dreams, advocating for accessibility and equity.
On City Council, I'll prioritize youth and education, supporting military families, improving waste services, promoting inclusive access, encouraging thoughtful economic development, and ensuring fiscal responsibility.
A Voice for Every Family in Layton isn't just my slogan; it's my promise. To learn more visit www.electlinda.com
