Emergency Notification System

Article Published 05/16/2011

Layton - May 16, 2011

Layton’s Emergency Notification System (ENS) is used to advise you of any situation that threatens harm to life and/or property or is deemed dangerous by officials. This may include incidents involving inclement weather, man-made disasters, crime, pandemics, hazardous materials incidents and missing persons. Notifications are made to specific geographic areas affected by the incident, but can be made to the entire city on rare occasions.

Use the Self Registration Portal link below to register your home or cell number to be called in the event of an emergency or significant event. The Portal allows you to update your information at any time if you move or change phone numbers.
