Layton Police to Host Internet Safety Class

The Layton Police Department will provide a free Internet Safety class for the public on September 5, 2007 at 6:30 P.M. at the Layton Police Department. The class will focus on general Internet Safety, the increased popularity of social networking sites, and the risks associated with providing too much personal information.

The class will be taught by experienced investigators with the Layton Police Department who specialize in Internet crimes. This class has been taught upon request several times in the past. At this time, the department is opening the class up to anyone who has an interest in Internet safety for themselves or their children.
