There will be a new monuments dedication on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2013, 6:30 a.m., at the Utah State University Botanical Center’s 9/11 Memorial, 920 S. 50 West, Kaysville.
(Not 6:30 p.m., as previously stated.)
The Layton Communities That Care (CTC) Youth group assisted the Youth of Promise (YOP) organization to add some additional monuments to this existing 9/11 Memorial that was initially dedicated on Sept. 11, 2012.

Stuart Adams, a Utah State Senator from Layton, will offer the prayer at the memorial dedication program.
Speakers will be Utah Lt. Governor Greg Bell, Utah State Representative Rob Bishop and Major General Brian Tarbet.
Also participating will be veterans from World War II, Korea, Vietnam, First Gulf War as well as current active members of the military from the Army, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard and Air Force.
The public is invited to this event.
