Road work update: Hill Field Road paving continues, SR-109 work winding down

Article Published 10/07/2016
-On Hill Field Road (SR-232), all concrete has been placed to 2800 North and crews are now moving north to SR-193 with the concrete pours. Once concrete has been placed it requires approximately 14 days to reach full strength.
Additionally, crews have begun asphalt removal from 1250 North to 1900 North. Paving in this section will begin as early as Monday, October 10.
All traffic from 1250 North to SR-193 is currently shifted to the west side of the roadway and will remain in that configuration through the end of October. One travel lane in each direction will be maintained on SR-232 and at the Antelope Drive intersection for this work.
Motorists should expect heavy delays from 7 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. and from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. due to school traffic, please use alternate routes, particularly if travel is time-sensitive, to avoid delays.
