Road work update: Nighttime ramp closures planned for SR-193 at US-89

Article Published 05/30/2017
Work continues on a project to resurface SR-193, the Bernard Fisher Highway, from Hill Field Road (SR-232) to US-89. Crews are periodically closing on- and off-ramps at US-89 and SR-193 between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. nightly through Friday, June 2. These closures are short in duration (approximately two to three hours each) and ensure driver and crew safety during paving at the intersections. Detours are marked appropriately for each night’s closure.  Crews are working the regularly scheduled nighttime schedule from 7 p.m. to 10 a.m.  Residents should expect increased noise and vibration during work hours, construction vehicles entering and exiting the roadway, temporary lane shifts and lane and shoulder restrictions.  For more information call the project team at 801-499-6577 or email
