Draft Regional Transportation Plan Available For Public Comment

Article Published 01/15/2015
From January 12 to February 20, Layton residents have the chance to comment on the latest draft of the Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) to provide input on road, transit and bike and pedestrian projects planned for your area.

The Draft 2015-2040 RTP was developed to improve mobility, promote economic vitality, improve air quality and enhance quality of life along the Wasatch Front. Updated every four years, the RTP prioritizes the investments needed to improve, maintain, preserve and operate the roads, transit system, and bike paths in the urbanized areas of Salt Lake, Davis, Weber and Box Elder Counties.

Visit wfrc.org to learn more about the process of developing the plan and review the proposed projects and phasing.  You can provide comments on projects within the interactive map, or participate in an online or in-person open house.
