CERT is about people helping people.
You will learn how to take care of your family first and then how to do the greatest good for the greatest number of people.
Through training, you will learn how to manage utilities, put out small fires and treat the three killers by opening airways, control bleeding, and treating for shock.
Provide basic medical aid; search for and rescue victims safely; and organize themselves and spontaneous volunteers to be effective.
