How can I return my ballot?

  1. Mail it in before Friday, November 1, 2019.
  2. Drop it in the Ballot Box located at Layton City Offices during business hours before Monday, November 4, 2019: Monday - Friday between hours of 8:00-5:00.
  3. Take it to any Vote Center on Election Day, Tuesday, November 5, 2019.

Layton City Election

2019 Layton Municipal Election

Take Notice that on November 5, 2019, a Vote by Mail Municipal General Election will be held in Layton, Utah. Registered voters living within the boundaries of Layton City will receive a ballot by mail and will be eligible to vote for candidates running for Mayor and three (3) City Council seats.

Mayoral Candidates are: Joy Petro and Joyce Forbes Brown.
City Council Candidates are: Scott Freitag, Dave Thomas, Clint Morris, J. Scott Carter, Zach
Bloxham, and Chris Crowder.

Registered voters can vote one of the following ways:

  • Mail their ballot by the Friday before the election.
  • Take the ballot to Layton City through Friday before the election.
  • Bring the completed ballot to any of the designated Vote Centers on Election Day.
  • Vote in person at any of the designated Vote Centers on Election Day between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on November 5, 2019.
